DOKKEN frontman Don Dokken will perform his only US solo date on December 18th at the Summit City Lounge in Whitesburg, Kentucky. Doors open at 8:00pm, tickets are $35 in advance and available at ticketmaster.com. For more info call 606-633-2715

Bravewords.com correspondent Deb Rao recently spoke to the Dokken frontman regarding his favorite metal moment of 2009. He commented: "Definitely the highlight of this year for me was opening for the SCORPIONS in Greece in July."

Dang....his only solo show in the entire U.S. is in Whitesburg??? He must be hitting hard times! Secondly...sorry Don, but I'd be hard pressed to pay 35 American to see Dokken in it's heyday, let alone Don Dokken now.

Don is really good friends with the radio guy over there. He actually was in Norton a few years ago at Just Music I think. A friend went to lunch early to go down there to see him.
